For effective cabinet space utilization, its small IP30 standard aluminum enclosure has either a DIN rail or wall mount.
Stable Operation in Challenging Conditions
The IGS-501T offers a high degree of immunity from electromagnetic interference and strong electrical surges, which are typically present on factory floors or in curb-side traffic control cabinets. The IGS-501T may be installed in practically any challenging environment because it has a temperature operating range of -40 to 75 degrees Celsius and is certified for hazardous locations (Class 1 Division 2).For worldwide high availability applications requiring dual or backup power inputs, the IGS-501T additionally has an integrated power supply source with a wide variety of voltages (12 to 48V DC).

For the best speed detection across RJ-45 Category 6, 5 or 5e cables, all of the RJ-45 copper interfaces in the IGS-501T allow 10/100/1000Mbps auto negotiation. Without the need for specialized straight or crossover cables, the auto-MDI/MDI-X standard support can determine the kind of connection to any Ethernet device.

The IGS-501T has 5 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports that offer non-blocking switch fabric and wire-speed throughput of up to 10Gbps, together with a 2K MAC address table that allows for packet loss-free wire-speed packet transfer. The IGS-501T can deliver quick and dependable data transfer thanks to the flow control feature. Extremely large amounts of data transfer in a secure industrial architecture can be handled by the Gigabit port with 9K jumbo frame capabilities, which transmits data to the central control room.
