  • Application

For a hardened environment, an advanced manageable PoE solution

16 10/100/1000BASE-T 802.11ax PoE+ Industrial Managed Switches are featured in the PLANET IGS-6325-16P4S switch. They can be put in any challenging location with to their 3at PoE+ ports, each of which can deliver up to 36 watts of power, and 4 100/1000/2500BASE-X fiber ports in an IP30 tough metal enclosure. It offers intuitive yet sophisticated IPv6/IPv4 management interfaces, a wealth of L2/L4 switching capabilities, Layer 3 OSPFv2 dynamic routing capability, and cutting-edge ITU-G.8032 ERPS Ring technology to enhance the rapid self-recovery capability and PLANET intelligent PoE functions for managing PoE outdoor IP surveillance and wireless network applications. It can function dependably, steadily, and silently in the -40 to 75 degree Celsius temperature range.

Network Security Solution to Reduce Security Risks

The SSHv2, TLS, and SSL protocols are supported by the IGS-6325 Series to offer powerful defense against cutting-edge threats. In order to complete it as an all-security solution, it includes a variety of cybersecurity features like DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, ARP Inspection Protection, 802.1x port-based and MAC-based network access control, RADIUS and TACACS+ user accounts management, SNMPv3 authentication, and others.

Fast Recovery for Critical Network Applications with Redundant Ring

To avoid disruptions and outside intrusions, the IGS-6325-16P4S utilizes redundant ring technology and has a powerful, quick self-recovery capacity. To increase system dependability and uptime in challenging factory conditions, it integrates modern ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP), and redundant power input system. The recovery time of a data link in a straightforward Ring network can be as quick as 10ms.

High Power PoE for Public Service and Security Applications

The IGS-6325-16P4S is specifically designed to meet the growing demand for higher power consuming network PDs (powered devices), such as multi-channel (802.11a/b/g/n) wireless LAN access points, PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) speed dome network cameras, and other PoE network devices. The entire system has a total 320-watt PoE budget.

ONVIF devices having a detection feature that are practical and smart

A fantastic new feature from PLANET called ONVIF Support was created expressly to work with video IP surveillance systems. Clients only require a single click from the IGS-6325-16P4S GUI to search and display all of the ONVIF devices using network applications. The switch series also allows clients to upload floor photos, which simplifies the deployment of surveillance and other devices for planning and inspection needs. Clients can also access online/offline status information and real-time surveillance information, and they can use the GUI to regulate PoE reboots.

An intelligent device check is performed.

The connected PD status of the IGS-6325-16P4S PoE Switch can be configured to be tracked in real time using ping action. The IGS-6325-16P4S will recycle the PoE port power and restart the PD whenever it stops operating and responding. Additionally, the PoE port will reset the PD power, substantially improving reliability and lightening the administration load on administrators.

Schedule of Energy for PoE

The IGS-6325-16P4S can effectively control the power supply in line with the global trend of energy conservation and contribute to environmental protection on Earth, in addition to its capacity to deliver high watts of power. The "PoE schedule" function, which is included, enables or disables PoE power feeding for each PoE port during certain time intervals. This function is effective for SMBs or organizations looking to conserve money and energy.

Recycled Power on Schedule

Each of the connected PoE IP cameras or PoE wireless access points can reboot on a weekly schedule thanks to the IGS-6325-16P4S. As a result, it will lessen the likelihood that a buffer overflow may cause an IP camera or AP to crash.

Alert for SMTP/SNMP Trap Events

The IGS-6325-16P4S offers an event alert capability to assist in diagnosing an abnormal device caused by a lost network connection or a rebooting response.

An efficient alarm alert for increased protection

When there is a problem with the switches, the IGS-6325 Series' Fault Alarm feature can notify the users. The users wouldn't have to waste time figuring out where the issue is with this great functionality. It will contribute to time and human resource savings.

External Alarm Digital Input and Digital Output

On its upper panel, the IGS-6325 Series offers digital input and output. With the use of this external alarm, users can use digital input to track the condition of external devices (such door incursion detectors) and send event alarms to administrators. If the port on the IGS-6325 Series exhibits link down, link up, or power failure, the administrators could be alerted using the digital output.

Support for Layer 3 Routing

The Layer 3 IPv4/IPv6 VLAN static routing and IPv4 OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First) settings may both be configured manually and automatically on the IGS-6325-16P4S, which makes it easier for network administrators to increase network efficiency. The OSPF is a link-state-based internal dynamic routing mechanism for autonomous systems. By exchanging link states among Layer 3 switches, the protocol builds a database of link state, and then uses that database to form a route table using the Shortest Path First method.

Dependable Layer 2 features

Advanced switch management features like dynamic port link aggregation, Q-in-Q VLAN, private VLAN, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, Layer 2 to Layer 4 QoS, bandwidth control, and IGMP snooping can be programmed into the IGS-6325 Series. The 802.1Q tagged VLAN offered by the IGS-6325 Series allows for a maximum of 255 VLAN groups. The IGS-6325 Series enables the operation of a high-speed trunk combining several ports through the aggregation of supporting ports. It supports fail-over and allows for a maximum of six trunk groups, each with four ports.

Optimal Management

The IGS-6325 Series has SNMP, Web, and console management interfaces for effective management. The IGS-6325 Series offers a user-friendly, platform-independent management and configuration capability with its integrated Web-based management interface. The IGS-6325 Series can be accessible via Telnet and the console port for text-based management. Additionally, it supports SNMPv3 connections, which encrypt the packet content at each session and provides secure remote management using any standard-based management program.

Strong Security

For implementing security at the edge, the IGS-6325 Series provides a thorough Layer 2 through Layer 4 Access Control List (ACL). By rejecting packets based on source and destination IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or predefined standard network applications, it can be used to limit network access. Additionally, 802.1x Port-based and MAC-based user and device authentication are included in its protection mechanism. To protect user privacy, communication between edge ports can be stopped using the private VLAN capability. The time and effort required by network managers to build highly secure business networks has significantly decreased.

PoE Switch for Industrial Area

Department/Workgroup
The IGS-6325-16P4S may simply establish a power-centralized managed IP phone system, IP camera system, or wireless AP group for Industrial network thanks to its up to 16 PoE+, in-line power interfaces. For example, in an industrial setting, 16 PoE IP cameras or wireless access points can be quickly put around the corner for wireless roaming or surveillance needs. The IGS-6325-16P4S removes the power-socket restriction, which facilitates the installation of IP cameras or wireless AP quicker and more effective.
