Excellent 802.3bt PoE++ Solution for a Hardened Environment
The PLANET IGS-6325-8UP2S2X L3 Industrial Managed PoE++ Switch complies with IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet Plus Plus technology and offers eight 10/100/1000BASE-T 802.3bt PoE++ ports, each of which can supply up to 95 watts of power, two 10G SFP+ ports, and two 100/1000BASE-X SFP interfaces in a durable IP30 metal case for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments. To address the incompatibility of non-standard 4-pair PoE PDs in the field, it supports a variety of PoE operation modes, including 90-watt 802.3bt type-4 PoE++ ports, 95-watt PoH (Power over HD-BASE-T) mode, and 4-pair force mode.
Since the IGS-6325 PoE++ Switch series can operate in a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C, it may be installed in practically any challenging environment. For effective utilization of cabinet space, the IGS-6325 PoE++ Switch series also supports DIN rail or wall installation.
90–95-watt Power over 4-pair UTP Solution for 802.3bt PoE++
As a result of the IGS-6325 PoE++ Series' adoption of the IEEE 802.bt PoE++ standard and PoH technology, it is able to source up to 95 watts of power by utilizing all four pairs of Cat5e/6 Ethernet cabling to provide each remote powered device (PD) with power and full-speed data. It has three times the power capability of the standard 802.3at PoE+, making it the perfect answer to meet the rising need for higher power consumption network PDs, such as:
- Speed dome PoE PTZ cameras
- network gadgets
- thin customers
- Point of sale (POS), information kiosks, and AIO touch PCs
- display remote digital signage
- POE lights
Advanced PoE Power Output Mode Management and 802.3bt PoE++
The IGS-6325 PoE++ Switch series offers five different PoE power output modes for selecting to satisfy the requirement of diverse powered devices using reliable PoE power.
- 90W 802.3bt Power Output Mode with PoE++ (Pins 1 through 3 plus Pins 4 through 7)
- Power Output Mode (Pins 1, 2, 3, 6 + Pins 4, 5, 7, 8) of 95W UPOE
- Pins 1, 2, 3, and 6 of the 30W End-span PoE Power Output Mode
- Pins 4, 5, 7, and 8 of the 30W Mid-span PoE Power Output Mode
- (Pins 1, 2, 3, 6 plus Pins 4, 5, 7, 8) 60W Force Power Output Mode
- ONVIF devices having a detection feature that are practical and smart
Convenient and Smart ONVIF Devices with Detection Feature
A fantastic new feature from PLANET called ONVIF Support was created expressly to work with video IP surveillance systems. Clients only require a single click from the IGS-6325 PoE++ Switch series GUI to search and display all of the ONVIF devices using network applications.
Customers can also upload floor blueprints to the switch, which enables the switch to locate surveillance equipment for simpler inspection and planning. Additionally, clients have access to real-time surveillance data, online/offline status, and GUI-based control of camera PoE reboots.
An intelligent device check is performed.
The IGS-6325 PoE++ Series can be set up to use ping action to continuously track the status of connected PDs. The IGS-6325 PoE++ Series will recycle the PoE port power and restart the PD whenever it stops operating and responding. Additionally, the PoE port will reset the PD power, substantially improving reliability and lightening the administration load on administrators.
Schedule of Energy for PoE
The IGS-6325 PoE++ Series can effectively control the power supply in line with the global trend of energy conservation and contribute to environmental protection on Earth, in addition to its capacity to deliver high watts of power. The "PoE schedule" function, which is included, enables or disables PoE power feeding for each PoE port during certain time intervals. This function is effective for SMBs or organizations looking to conserve money and energy.
Recycled Power on Schedule
Every PoE IP camera or PoE wireless access point connected to the IGS-6325 PoE++ Series can reboot at a predetermined time each week. As a result, it will lessen the likelihood that a buffer overflow may cause an IP camera or AP to crash.
Support for Layer 3 Routing
With the IGS-6325 Series, administrators may easily increase network productivity by manually configuring Layer 3 IPv4/IPv6 VLAN static routing and IPv4 OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First) parameters. The OSPF is a link-state-based internal dynamic routing mechanism for autonomous systems. By exchanging link states among Layer 3 switches, the protocol builds a database of link state, and then uses that database to form a route table using the Shortest Path First method.
Fast Recovery for Critical Network Applications with Redundant Ring
To avoid disruptions and outside intrusions, the IGS-6325 Series utilizes redundant ring technology and has a powerful, quick self-recovery capability. To increase system dependability and uptime in challenging factory conditions, it integrates modern ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP), and redundant power input system. The recovery time of a data link in a certain straightforward Ring network can be as quick as 10ms.
Having a secure network reduces security risks
To protect against cyberthreats and cyberattacks, the IGS-6325 Series is equipped with improved cybersecurity. It supports the SSHv2, TLS, and SSL protocols to offer powerful defense against cutting-edge threats. The cybersecurity feature of the IGS-6325 Series protects the switch management and improves the security of the mission-critical network without adding any additional deployment cost or effort. It also offers over 95 watts of PoE output to customers' critical equipment in a business network.
Flexible Network Connectivity for Factory Automation is Offered via Modbus TCP
The IGS-6325 Series can readily connect with SCADA systems, HMI systems, and other data acquisition systems in factory floors thanks to the Modbus TCP/IP protocol that is supported. Administrators may simply improve factory monitoring and maintenance by remotely monitoring the operating data, port data, communication status, and DI and DO status of the industrial Ethernet switch.
For Industrial Computing Networks, 1588 Time Protocol
The IGS-6325 Series supports MEF service delivery and timing over packet solutions for IEEE 1588 and synchronous Ethernet, making it the perfect choice for telecom and carrier Ethernet applications.
Alert for SMTP/SNMP Trap Events
The IGS-6325 Series has an event alert capability to assist in diagnosing an abnormal device caused by a lost network connection or a rebooting response.
An efficient alarm alert for increased protection
When there is a problem with the switches, the IGS-6325 Series' Fault Alarm feature can notify the users. The users wouldn't have to waste time figuring out where the issue is with this great functionality. It will contribute to time and human resource savings.
External Alarm Digital Input and Digital Output
On its front panel, the IGS-6325 Series enables digital input and output. With the use of this external alarm, users can use digital input to track the condition of external devices (such door incursion detectors) and send event alarms to administrators. If the port on the IGS-6325 Series exhibits link down, link up, or power failure, the administrators could be alerted using the digital output.
