PLANET's new Renewable Energy Industrial 802.3at PoE Managed Ethernet Switch, BSP-360, deploys a surveillance or wireless network and remotely manages IP-based devices. The BSP-360's green technology allows it to be charged by solar, wind, and hydroelectric power to economically power remote IP cameras and wireless APs in dams, forests, deserts, national parks, nature/animal protection areas, and highways.

MaxPowerPointTracking charging controller
An MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) electronic DC-to-DC converter enhances PV solar panel-battery bank or utility grid match. They convert solar panels' and wind turbines' higher DC output to the lower voltage needed to charge the battery. It accepts 400W PV modules.

Carbon-Free, Stable Power
The BSP-360 recharges 24V lithium or lead-acid batteries with solar electricity. Therefore, the BSP-360 will power PD devices without cabling. Renewable energy powers its zero-carbon feature. Most notably, outside wireless IP-based monitoring can continue at night when the battery is charged.
