The Industrial 8-Port 10/100Mbps M12 Fast Ethernet Switch, also known as the ISW-800T-M12, was designed with an IP67 industrial case that provides a high level of immunity against electromagnetic interference and powerful electrical surges that are frequently found on plant floors or in curb side traffic control cabinets. To make the best use of the available cabinet space, the ISW-800T-M12's compact, IP67-certified aluminum chassis enables installation on either a DIN rail or a wall.
The ISW-800T-M12 has M12 connector interfaces and eight 10/100Base-TX auto-negotiation ports. In areas with severe vibration and shock, the M12 connector offers a stable connection and reliable Ethernet operational performance.
Stable Performance in Difficult Conditions
The ISW-800T-M12 can operate in a temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C, allowing it to be used in virtually any demanding environment. For use in high availability applications that require backup or dual power inputs internationally, the ISW-800T-M12 also features an integrated power source with a wide variety of voltages (12 to 48V DC).
Improvements to Switch Performance
The ISW-800T-M12 is the best option for the majority of Fast Ethernet configurations since it has a 2K MAC address table and the capacity to transmit packets at wire speed without the risk of a missed packet. The ISW-800T-M12's 1.6Gbps internal switching fabric and auto negotiation capabilities on each of its eight Fast Ethernet ports enable it to handle vast volumes of data in a secure topology connected to a backbone or high capacity servers.
The flow management feature of the ISW-800T-M12 enables fast and reliable data transfer. For the optimum speed detection over RJ-45 Category 3, 4, 5, 5e, and 6 connections, all of the M12 RJ-45 copper interfaces on the ISW-800T-M12 are auto-negotiable at 10/100 Mbps. There is no requirement for specific straight or crossover connections when utilizing the standard auto-MDI/MDI-X capabilities to connect any Ethernet device.
