Utilizing cutting-edge green networking technology, the IGS-801T offers link-on cable length and link-down power saving techniques. These capabilities enable the IGS-801T to operate at full load while consuming very little power, effectively preserving energy while maintaining great performance.

The IGS-801T is able to automatically detect cable link state and network traffic thanks to Auto Power Saving and the IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) Protocol. As a result, power consumption can be adjusted as necessary. The switches can use less energy while they are not in use thanks to this feature.
